Digital Account Manager

The Digital Account Manager supports client relationships by managing communication, coordinating timelines, and ensuring successful digital marketing campaigns. This role requires strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn under experienced managers. Responsibilities include managing multiple accounts, developing client relationships, and delivering strategies that meet or exceed expectations, requiring a deeper understanding of digital marketing and autonomy.

Scope of Work

  • Coordinate project timelines and deliverables across internal teams.

Roles and Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the main point of contact for mid-tier and larger accounts, fostering long-term client relationships.

  • Communicate regularly with clients to discuss progress, performance metrics, and ongoing campaign adjustments.

  • Provide strategic recommendations to clients based on campaign performance and industry trends

Client Communication

  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned small-to-medium accounts, ensuring regular communication with clients.

  • Provide timely updates to clients on the status of ongoing campaigns and deliverables.

  • Address client questions and concerns, escalating complex issues to senior team members when necessary.

Campaign Coordination

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and delivery of digital marketing campaigns.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (design, content, SEO, paid media) to ensure deliverables are met on time.

  • Track project timelines, and ensure that all tasks are completed within deadlines.

Reporting & Performance Monitoring

  • Prepare basic reports on campaign performance, including social media, SEO, PPC, and email marketing metrics.

  • Analyze performance data and provide insights to clients on areas of improvement.

  • Ensure reports are delivered on schedule and meet client expectations.

Client Strategy Support

  • Participate in client meetings to gather requirements and contribute to the development of marketing strategies.

  • Work with senior team members to create proposals, project plans, and campaign timelines.

  • Support in managing project budgets and ensuring campaigns remain within allocated resources.

Campaign Oversight

  • Manage the execution of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring on-time and quality delivery across all touchpoints.

  • Work closely with the content, creative, and technical teams to ensure campaign components are cohesive and aligned with the strategy.

  • Monitor project timelines and budgets, making adjustments to ensure projects stay within scope.

Performance Reporting & Analytics

  • Analyze campaign data to assess effectiveness and provide recommendations for optimization.

  • Deliver detailed reports on campaign performance, providing actionable insights for future improvements.

  • Regularly present reports to clients and senior management, highlighting successes and areas for growth.

Team Collaboration

  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams (SEO, paid media, content, creative) to align on client deliverables.

  • Ensure team members are clear on campaign goals and deliverables.

  • Mentor junior account managers and assist in their professional development.

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.

  • 4-6 years of experience in digital marketing or account management, preferably within an agency setting.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, social media, and email marketing.

  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and identifying opportunities.

  • Willingness to stay current with industry trends and continuously improve skills and knowledge.
