The Digital Marketing Specialist I is responsible for supporting the agency's marketing efforts through the execution of basic digital marketing tasks. This role is entry-level, designed for individuals with foundational digital marketing knowledge, and requires hands-on experience with various digital marketing channels, including SEO, social media, content marketing, and paid media.
Scope of Work
Assist in the execution of digital marketing strategies across multiple platforms.
Provide support to senior team members by performing foundational tasks related to campaign setup, content management, and reporting.
Learn and apply digital marketing tools and techniques under supervision.
Roles and Responsibilities
Content Creation & Social Media Management
Assist in writing and scheduling social media posts across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
Help create content for blog posts, email newsletters, and social media graphics.
Monitor and engage with social media audiences by responding to comments and messages
SEO Support
Conduct basic keyword research and competitor analysis using tools like Google Keyword Planner and SEMrush.
Implement on-page SEO tasks such as optimizing meta tags, alt text, and internal linking.
Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics and report findings to senior team members.
Paid Media Campaign Support
Assist in setting up basic Google Ads and Facebook Ads campaigns.
Perform basic ad optimization, such as adjusting targeting or budgets based on performance.
Compile reports on key metrics like clicks, impressions, and conversions to inform campaign success.
Email Marketing Support
Help design and schedule email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp or Go High Level.
Assist in managing email lists and audience segmentation.
Track basic email performance metrics, including open rates and click-through rates, and provide insights for improvement.
Reporting & Analytics
Collect data from various digital marketing channels, including social media, Google Analytics, and paid campaigns.
Assist in preparing performance reports that highlight key metrics.
Learn to use analytics tools and dashboards to provide basic insights into campaign performance.
1-2 years of experience in the field.
A degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
Good understanding of digital marketing principles.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
